Do I need to worry about MJ being blocked

I am getting to a point where I want to rely on MJ more. I may eventually port my landline number to it.

What I am wondering is if there are ISPs that block MJ? If so, do they have the right to do so?

It kind of goes to the question of whether MJ is a long-term solution or something that competitors can throttle if it becomes threatening.

I don't think there are any ISP's in the USA who would block it. Overseas yes they can and do in some countries..

IF I am mistaken I am sure there are smarter people than me on here who would know more about the subject.

Yes, there are ISP's who do block VOIP. I am not aware of any in the United States or Canada but I know some ISP's in places such as Korea and the UAE do block VOIP traffic.

The question of whether or not they have the right to do it depends completely on your agreement with that company and the laws of your jourisdiction.
