VOICE DELAY

Has anyone else experienced a slight voice-delay, maybe 1/2-3/4 of a second delay, while it is certainly manageable it is also frustrating as you catch yourself talking over someone often.

I have gone through all the "fixes" from chat sessions, have a clean install on my pc, tested the softphone and several corded and cordless phones, delay is consistent on all...

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated that don't include the following :

Install recent upgrades of magicjack
adjust volume control
don't use the USB extension provided
plug magic-jack into a different USB
try another machine

Same issue here, ive have done every tweak that I could find with USB power settings, indexing tweaks and what ever else I could find.

Try using a different proxy server. Go to the MJ wiki at http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/MagicJack for directions.

I have tried a handful of them, have not noticed anything beneficial going any closer or further away from home.

I am on the LA server and the ping comes back in about 85-90ms, I ping the New York server in about 8-10ms, would this have anything to do with a voice delay do you think?

It didn't make a noticeable difference for me. I am going to try a powered USB hub next. I will let you know if that helps when I get it.

I must say, maybe it's my imagination but MJ support moved me from the LA server to the NY one, I still have a small delay but I believe it has been reduced.

Powered hub did nothing, I stall have a 6 sec delay on incoming calls from when I pick up to when I can hear anything.
