Pls recommend best SMALL corded phone

New to MJ and the forum. Have a hard time finding a high quality small and i mean small corded phone to use while traveling with my laptop and MJ. If not available, what is a good option?

I have a phone similar to this one I bought at Radio Shack years ago for on the road MagicJack operation.

Wallmart sells a GE desk/wall phone for $5 that works good with MJ.

Search Google images for "Mini phone" to see many more.

I first tried the flip phone being sold on eBay (the one with battery an display) - worked for a small time and then stopped giving me dial tone. I found out here that the contacts go bad and you essentially have to throw it out. Don't get that one.

I am now trying the RTC which is a bit larger but same price (under $10 also on eBay). This one has a button on the side and an arm with a little ball that is where you speak comes out. It seems to work OK, though I find that many times, nothing happens when I push the button and I have to giggle the arm and push the button again for it to come out. I guess pacific rim manufacturing does not have real high QA standards.

It's one piece, with no cradle. Used in hospitals so it's even disposable. Only about $13.

You can do a search on Google or eBay also, for Med-Pat Phones. They
are hospital grade, with no cradle, and several styles for around $20
shipped.

I use a Plantronics head set phone which I bought about 9 years ago at Office depot. They do not have the same model any more, they have now an upgraded one which is really pricey. But : It is a little box with a dialling pad and a head set, ideal for travel and home/office, takes no space on your desk, gives you a hands free operation, has a noise cancelling system and gives you a call center quality. That is important with our crapjack because it can mitigate a lot of the sound problems instead of making them worse like many cheap (especially cordless phones) do.

There's a new mini telephone from ADC. It looks a lot like the long gone Innovage flip phone, and seems to have a lot of those features (I hope the quality is a LOT better). The size looks about right:

They want approximately $20 for one, but the warranty is only 30 days. No idea how reliable it is. Anyone know?

This is really a kid's phone that looks like a flip-type cell phone. You can fold it closed and set it any where.
