What is the best and stable wireless router that DD-WRT

I am planning to buy a new router. What is the best router (with stable wireless signal) that works with DD-WRT and that works with MJMD5?

make sure it can support jiff and ipkg

do your research before buying your router.

i like the new d-link gamers edition that has removable att. but doesn''t support dd-wrt. the linksys has no removable att. some have usb support and some don't. take your pick

i have a wrt54gs v1.1 and wrt54gs v5.0
the 5.0 can't do mjmds (no jiff/ ipkg)

Will the following wireless router work

ASUS WL-520gU IEEE 802.3/3u/3x, IEEE 802.11b/g, I am not sure if it supports ipkg and jiff., Can some one please confirm this.

Yes - it works perfectly and very stable. Can run MJ proxy.

I think that the easiest way to find out without asking would be to check what is the edition that you can flash. If it's micro - than no, probably it won't work. If it's mini - it probably will. Anything higher - it will.

Just go to dd-wrt software page and click on your router model.

ASUS WL520 should be fine. you can flash it with dd-wrt.v24_std_generic.bin

I heard that the best routers for the job are buffalo WHR-HP-G54.

Too bad the Airlink 101 AR670W doesn't work as it has been listed as WIP on the DD-WRT site for over a year. Such a catastrophe trying to send a router overseas to germany for the DD-WRT developers to work on. Has an Ralink 28XX chipset but noone wants to try in fears of bricking.....

'Tis a shame as this is one of those cheapy $20 Wireless routers from Fry's Electronics.
