BEEP! for those who tried all the fixes and still get beeps!
I have tried every fix and still get the dreaded beep. I bought the magicjack because I am a precious metals broker and I usually work outside the office. I travel alot so its nice to plug it into my laptop and have the same landline#. But I still have the dreaded beeps! With the current state of this economy with the eventual rise of silver and gold I am on the phone with clients more than ever. I must get rid of this beep. Anyone else still have the beep?

Beeps
Yep, I too have tried everything customer support has told me to do to no avail. I really need help with this as I am running a healthcare billing company, and hoped to use an MJ on every FTE PC. Until I get that fixed, I am not adding another one!! Help Dan!!

OTC stated it best, but I would like add.oldtimercurt wrote:Come on Guys,

At least have a backup system just in case #1 fails. Common knowledge, if you are in any kind of business.
This was one of the most likely "Stocking Stuffers" (ONLY $40 BUCKS) for '08 Xmas year, so everybody with a chatty Teen, Spouse, or Better Half has one. All On at ONCE, Impossible! Do the math, Hang ups, busy signals, cannot connect???
Just a thought.

Nope, not even going to try since I've not experienced the problem.
My post count doesn't mean I know it all. Most of my posts were, in fact, asking for help myself. I offer help when I think I can help with problem I've experienced or read about on the forums.
Have you tried the many things you fellow posters have--some of them have been successful.

For me the point is being able to travel to different hotels and plug and play boom! Office line. Has nothing to do with money.

No one is responding any longer to the thread you mentioned. So I wanted to start a thread for the people still having the beeps after trying all of the fixes in the other thread.

I am happy to say that my beeping has gone way. The problem was for some reason the talk4free download wasnt downloading completely. Finally a tech noticed that and gave me another link to that download and the beeping is now gone. Ironically it got fixed 3 minutes before i was going to finish filling out a form to join a class action law suit against them. I am now a magickjack fan again! What a deal!
