Anyone has any of the Skype WiFi phones ?
How do they sound ? I currently have a subscription just to test out the service but no phone.

Try the skype forum, it might suit your needs better.

True, but wanted to see if any other MJ members also uses Skype too.

What I would like to know is if Skype phones can be used with other voip services, such as MJ, assuming you have sip creds of course. Are Skype phones "locked" so to speak?

ISTR that Skype phones are locked. But unlocked phones are available for comparable prices.

You can use skype with your MJ. Just search for skype and you will see the thread for this. I finally got it to work and have tested it out today and the call quality is far superior to MJ. There's no choppy voice and annoying beeps to drive you nuts at time. I hope MJ gets this stuff fixed but at least there is a good alternative for use with the dongle.

Just bought my second magicjack, the new hardware just showed up today.
Sound quality seems to be 10 billion times better now.
