Spontaneously on hold then turns off

Post by JoelIrwin »

This is still happening to me on my desktop -- it will connect to a a phone call and then randomly put the call on hold, the light goes off on the MJ and then the device and software disappear. When I try to use again (even on another machine), the OS requires me to reformat it.

Has happened a bunch of times... anyone else seen this or know what to do about it?

Person Receiving call spontainously placed on Hold

Post by PFortman »

After a year and a half of satisfactory use, the persons I call complained of poor reception while I continued to hear them fine. Progressively got worse. Frequent dropped calls. After redial the connection. When the other person said they heard music, I figured out that Flash button would briefly restore connection, but not for long.

Rebooting (3 min. wait) cable modem, router & hub no help. With MJ Tech help, reinstalled Oct. 2008 update. Brief improvement; then back to same problem making MJ unusable.

Running on Mac Mini/Intel via broadband Comcast Cable

hearing music means they were put on hold as I have noticed. I continue to only see this problem when it is connected to my desktop. When I connect it to my laptop and am not seeing any problems/issues at all....

curious....
Have a great day,
