I spent a lot of time trying to figure out where Magic Jack has service beyond the area code. I finally found this resource which tells you all of the blocks of numbers that YMAX has reserved. It is possible that some of the blocks are completely used, of course, so no Guarantees. But it seems to be updated regularly and will also tell you which prefix numbers will be local calls when calling to a Magic Jack number. the link is:

UPDATE: There is a company that comes up called "Skymax". This is not a Magic Jack Number.
