Screws on base?

Post by jimisbell »

My TC arrived this morning with the base and the computer separate, and no screws. I tried 4-40 and 6-32, neither fit!!! What is the screw that fits those mounting holes?

If I had to guess, I would say they are M4 (4mm) screws. Home Depot has them. You may want to carry the machine with you when you visit.

In any case, the thin client is small enough for you to easily carry it with you. Good luck.

The last four are pictures of mine apart in various stages.

If you are not living on the edge then you are just taking up too much space.

if I recall, there are two screws (phillips head screwdriver) and one side comes off. Then two more phillips screws and the metal shield comes off, that's it, you're in.

Actually two screws to take the side off and four screws to get the metal cover off.
