My MJ is allows outgoing calls on PC, but not Mac

When I first got my replacement MJ, I rejoiced that I could place outgoing calls again. This only lasted for a few hours, then it stopped working. Incoming calls are no problem.

So I hooked the MJ into my PC laptop and it can place outgoing calls anytime. Why is it flaky on my Mac? I know my settings must be right, as I was able to place outgoing calls for a short time before it died again.

Any thoughts?
