I guess it is "web access"i
It is described as "Internet wireless access"
Doubt they will give refund and if they do they might turn off my web access. But I can surely complain, andI am with a tour group so I am sure they will not want me to give negative feedback. When I stay at cheaper hotels there is free internet, at expensive hotels you pay - go figure
i was in nicaragua and two of the small hotels offered free calls to usa - via a magicjack connected to their lobby computer

It sucks that they are blocking ports. But you probably won't be able to fix the problem while you're there. A quick fix that will cost you a few more $$ is to download and install Skype. Skype is good about bypassing closed down ports because it will use port 80 if all else fails. You can quickly ascertain if Skype is working by calling the "test call" number. If it works, you can sign up for $10 worth of computer-2-landline calling via their web site and your credit card. I did this while in Italy several years ago and still have over $5.00 of credit sitting in my account (they force me to make a call once in a while to keep the credit active). At least you will have a cheap way to call back to the states w/o paying the highway robbery rates that the hotel will charge.
