Windows Home Server (based on 2003)

Another dumb question...
Will MJ work on the Winodws Home Server? ... it's based on Windows 2003.

It really needs the library's only found in XP service pack 2 and above.

I recommend XP sp3.

No, You are wrong. I run my MJ on Windows Home Server PP2. Works awesome!

Home Server is based on Server 2008, not 2003.

No it is not. It is based on server 2003. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Home_Server

I have MJ setup as a service using anyservice installer and has worked 100% with no issue's at all. In fact I have not had to look at that ugly ass software since I did this over 7 months ago.

Here is a good place to start http://phoneservicesupport.com/magic-ja ... t1364.html and check wegotserved.com as the site is only about WHS.

Guess there is an exception to almost any rule,glad to know that it works with an older version of the Windows OS.
