That would be a negatory, good buddy!

Haven't been able to spoof for a while with the MJ, although I understand there are some other VoIP providers who can.

Anybody working on forwarding to GV ? Leastwise I'd be able to use their
blocking capabilites and not reveal my MJ number once I change it ..

I'm having issues with the daughters ex boyfriend ... called 50+ times lastnite @ 1 AM in under 30secs .. not sure how he did it .. sure like to return the favor

Set up call forwarding at my.magicjack.com

PM me his number. He'll regret ever messing with you.

THANKS for the offer Andy ..
He's been calling from 2 different published # and one anonymous ..
I'm about to try routing via MJ call forwarding to GV and block .. but the daughter needs to contact him (they share offspring) .. i'd be nice if there was some way I not expose the outbound # ..

depending on what the future holds ... I may let you go at it ...

It's kind off funny ... he called so many times in such a short period my mail server flagged the MJ voicemail notifications as spam ...

Sign up for a SIP account over at sipgate.com. They allow you to configure your outbound callerid (read: callerid spoofing). When you sign up, they give you an hour of free calling.

Set your outbound callerid for sipgate to be your magicJack number, and configure an ATA to work with sipgate.

Configure GV to send calls to your new sipgate number.

Then, when he calls your MJ line, it will forward to GV which will send it to your new sipgate number.

When your daughter dials out via the ATA/sipgate, the caller ID will be your magicJack number.

If you want to see the actual number he is dialing from for the anonymous calls, you will need probably to set up an '800' number, and have calls forwarded there. You'd need to pay for incoming, but at least you can see his 'anonymous' number.

If he really does get annoying, let me know. I can bombard him with a ton of 'random' calls at 'random' intervals, or I can bombard him with SMS spam. Either way, it'll force him to change his phone number.

There's a new service from the folks who brought you Spoof Card called Trap Call (trapcall.com). Supposedly, it shows you who is calling from blocked numbers. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be able to work the way I have my cell phone and Google Voice numbers set up to work together. May be worth looking at, though. They have several different flavors, from free to premium.

lol, yep. If you're going to change your MJ number, best to do it ASAP. They automatically forward your old number to your new number for a month (felt like longer for me). There is no way I know of to opt out of that, other than contacting magicjack I suppose...

Steroids, I'd love to hear how you do that. haha
That definitely could come in handy.

I seen that trapcall website awhile ago, really cool. Unfortunately, it's not available in my Country. It kind of makes me uneasy to know that my number can be so easily unblocked, though. I guess the only way to thwart that is with help from the internet lol... Which reminds me, if he's using the internet to make those anonymous calls, buying an 800 number or using trapcall probably won't help you unless he's calling from a service that has an incoming phone number.
