corded or cordless phone will not dial out

i can dial out using the magicjack software and talk on the phones but can not dial out with either my corded or cordless phones that worked last week or so. anyone have some ideas? magic jack support is a joke im on my third agent now

i am having the same problem and have contacted the supposed magicjack support, do not waste your time. I have wasted 4-5 hours so do not go to them for an answer. I am looking forward to the answer also. I have heard that this problem started after an software update.

and click on my . magicjack
then on this page http://my.magicjack.com/myindex.html
click on magicjack settings ((change))

check the box that says PIN not recognised

this works and it worked for me

my computer only has the headset option, it doesnt let me attach a telephone & dial out.
I can dial out with the magicjack phone, and it seems to work, but since I have no microphone, it doesnt help.

I also think this happened after the last software update, but I cant tell for sure.

I've already tried that and it didn't work. By the way, even if I dial out using the softphone (which I can) and then pick up the telephone and try to have a conversation, the order side can't hear me. But I can hear them. So, I don't think it has anything to do with dialing. It's like it won't pick up anything from the telephone (anything outgoing). I can hear the other side on the telephone (so incoming is good).
