This is just a guess, since I've never used an ATA for magicJack, but have you tried lowering the value of Cfwd No Ans Delay? Per the registry hack for disabling voicemail with the magicJack dongle, 15 seems the appropriate value. I tested that value on my dongle and it worked. The problem I found is that, although the magicJack voicemail never kicked in, neither did my answering machine.

Hello,
I am not sure if this will help or what your looking for but I tried to disable MJ VM by the below method and has seemed to work. Light want to give it a try. Hope it helps ya!
I tried this on a PAP2T by changing one setting in my user line.
Cfwd No Ans Dest: "Your MJ number"
This change will make your MJ ring forever until you pick it up.
If you are using line1 go to user1 settings.

Thank you for the info. I noticed that even when I deleted my voice mail, the voice mail indicator on my phone would not shut off.
Now I have no way of knowing if I have voice mail, other than the fact that I get an email with the voice mail. I just have to remember to clear the voice mail every now and then. I listen to my messages on the computer, anyway.

My experience with voice mail prompt was to switch ata boxes. There are 3 boxes in my possession. The rtp300 and rt31p2 were unlocked vonage version and the other is unlocked sunrocket spa2102. The settings are basically the same with voice mail related settings disabled. It seems the problem is from spa2102. It firstly had prompt on for no reason, after change to rt31p2 and then back, it was gone. This evening it stopped working and had to switch to rt31p2. The reason I used spa2102 is just for its small size. Will see if it (spa2102) works again in a while.

Do note that while setting the Message Waiting to "NO" will remove the voicemail status indicator from showing that you have voicemails in waiting, your phone instrument\base will no longer be able to show voicemail status at all.mememe1234 wrote:After some play around, it seems this setting works.
User 1/2 TAB, Supplementary Service Settings section set Message Waiting: NO
