Have to reformat every time !

Why is it that every time I turn on my computer I have to reformat the MJ ? Also, if I move it to another computer I have to reformat it. Aren’t you supposed to be able to move it from your desktop to your laptop (or any other computer) and not have to redo everything ??

I used to be able to, but now I have the same problem.

You probably have too many start up programs.
Try to shorten the start up process.
If there are multiple programs trying to start at the same time as Magic Jack you will most likely have problems.
Magic jack is usually the last program to load, but if the other programs have not finished loading you will have problems.
If Magic Jack takes an unusually long time to load you will probably have to reformat.

I'm having a similar problem. I just setup a brand new clean install of windows, just to run my magic jack and I'm having this problem. If I unplug the magicjack or reboot, I have to format all over again.

Should I do anything to my magicjack besides formatting it and running the update?

your mj is messed up you need a new one

Once I reformat it, it works fine. The hardware is fine, it's something wrong with the software.

I have to reformat and upgrade every morning to use my MJ.

First message tells me I have to plugin MJ Next message says Error broken storage. After reformat and upgrade it works untill I lose internet connection or restart computer.

I know I have the same problem broken storag it is getting to be a real problem. I run on a thin client and it is a real pain to format everyday because it says broken storage, it never use to do this
