By accident today, when showing my BYOD devices to a friend, I had both my Linksys PAP2T and my GrandStream Budge tone 100 connected at the same time. My friend called his wife on the VoIP phone in US and was talking with her, he then called (while still on with has wife) his sister in Canada using the regular phone attached to my PAP2T, he was connected with and talking with both at the same time. Everything appeared to be working well.
FYI both my BYOD's simple have my MJ credentials installed only, and the DLink DIR 300 router and the Linksys BEFSR41 router are running only their original/upto date software. Both routers have handeled both BYODs with no problems, so far at least.
I'm no techno type, but my TechNerd brother always told to try the simplest steps first then work forward as needed. I thank all of those here on the forum who have shared their expertise with those of us who are less informed. I freely tell I was very nervous thinking about trying to flash my router with a whole new set of software.
