MWI (message waiting indicator)

I am new to this forum and would like to ask: Does MagicJack support MWI for telephones? I never know if I have voicemail because there is no stutter tone and my phone's MWI does not light up.

MagicJack started showing signs of improvement with voicemail just last week. I assumed the issues you raised were taken care of since user SpamBox reported his phone was working with these features.

I just tested the stutter tone on my phone after leaving myself a message and it doesn't work.

Perhaps they are still working on it?

If you can bear to check your softphone, the VMAIL button does work. It lights up when you have messages.

Is MWI / stutter tone working for anyone else?

A stutter tone is a rapidly broken dial tone for the first few seconds after you take the phone off hook.

Thanks - I'll try it and let you know what happens.

OK - No stutter tone, but I don't know if my phone even has that ability. The Green VM Notification does light up.

One interesting note I sent two voice mails to my self and was able to listen to both thru MJ, but I only received one VM email notification.
[edit] Oops I lied the second email notification just came in about ten minutes later than the first.

Well it is getting better, they will have it working right "SOON"
