Recording Calls

Post by Craig »

Just playing with basic stereo mix settings, I've found that I can record my end of a phone conversation. Is there any way to record the incoming line, or both?

A search will provide a wealth of information. The only two I'm familiar with are Cain and Wireshark. I like WS because it will record both channels separately. There are others that some forum users prefer but these are the only two I've used successfully. Both are free.

Recording calls with CallN

Have you tried http://www.calln.com ?
It is all automatic and doesn't require skills with wireshark.
A standard mp3 file is created.

Magicjack simply uses the standard SIP protocol.

Blazer123, Have you had a chance to use this service from calln.com ? Is there a way to tun it off so your not recording all conversations that are made on the phone ?
