Asterisk + MJ + Codec G729

I have a * Server working good, but recently my server is having a problem when recive calls, if this call comes from a movil phone (celular): I can´t hear the call, I mean, I hear the call, but with problems, it is not clear and the other person can´t hear me, but when i call this person: we can talk very good, i supose that the problem is the codec g729, I tried to use the g711 in my MJ configuration (sip.conf) and in my extension (eyebeam) and with codec G711 it works ok, i hear the call that comes from a movil phone very good and the other person can hear me ok, but i don´t now why my server is presenting this problem now, in the past month all the calls from movil phone was working very good with codec G729... someone know why...???

maybe I did something wrong and don´t remember what... someone know what is the problem...?

For me is necesary to use codec G729...I can´t use the G711 because in my country the bandwidth is poor or bad...

Where did you get the G729 codec?
Is it possible your license for G729 codec has expired.
This codec is not free.....

Yes I know, it is not free, I am using the opensource license, but it is woring ok when I want to make a call, the problem is when I recive calls to my MJ number...when I Use othe VOIP Provider i don´t have problems when I recive calls... this problem si only with the MJ configuration...,

Just a thought have you added any other processes to the server lately? Your server is I think going to have to transcode bewteen 729 and 711 and that requires some cpu time. Perhaps the server is just getting too busy.
