When I installed my magicjack for the first time a window popped up containing the error message "No output/input audio devices are found!". Everything seemed to install properly and the magicjack indicated it was Ready to Call. It assigned me a number and I had a dial tone on my attached phone.
However, I am unable to call out or receive calls, either on the phone or via a headset. In fact, magicjack will not even allow me to switch my status from headset to telephone.
I spent around four hours in chat with tech support to no avail. Later I installed magicjack on another computer and it worked fine, so the problem is definitely with my computer.
When I try to find or change drivers or other information on my sound card (which is a Realtek HD Audio and part of the motherboard) I can't because I get a blank screen when I try to enter Device Manager.
Any ideas as to how to get magicjack to find and use my output/input audio devices?
