Getting Voice on Thin Client Speaker...

Interesting......today I was at the computer when a call came in and, even though it has never happened before.....the ring was broadcast through the speaker on the TC!!! Then I heard the voice of the person calling, also on the speaker as my wife answered the phone in a different room. As she answered the speaker shut off but was on for about a second.

Is there a way that I can connect directly to the TC with a headset and answer the phone by just using the screen as an interface???

You should be able to use the softphone on a TC just like on any PC you'd need a microphone to be plugged in and the TC speakers aren't that great but if you used a headset for mic/speaker it works like a champ.

BTW if you do not want audio to the speaker just open the softphone and set it to use telephone instead of headset. If it is set to headset the telephone still works though as you heard.
