Putting Computer to Sleep

Post by ryegrass »

I appreciate all your effort in making Magic Jack run as a service and in the background so that there is no annoying splash screen. The installer is simple to use and works well, however the main reason I'd like to run Magic Jack as a service is so I can place my computer in standby mode (sleep). Unfortunately this function doesn't work as an OEM installation or running it as a service with your installer. Do you plan any upgrades in the future to enable this feature.
Thanks, Randy

MJ can't function if your computer is in standby. That is why MJ disables the standby and hibernate functions.

I understand that, I only use that line when the computer is on for long distance calls.
