Outbound voice garbled - how to fix?

I apologize in advance if this has been asked/answered before, as I have not found that thread yet.

I have fitted the Magic Jack on the USB on my parents desktop. My network speed is 10Mbps. When I make a call via a handset, I can hear the other person's voice clearly, but my outgoing voice is garbled to that other person.

What can I do to fix this?
