MJ Works only in my windows profile

I installed MJ yesterday, works fine, calls work coming in or going out, voice mail is nifty etc.... When I installed MJ, I was logged in to Windows XP as myself and when I am logged in with my own username it works fine. When other family members log in with their own usernames, MJ doesn't work. Is this the way it's supposed to work or should MJ be working no matter who is logged in ?

That's the way it works starrouter. You could have each member log in, plug in your MJ again and have it installed in each of the accounts. Or you could consider installing it as a Windows service, which is covered at length in this forum. As a service, anyone can use MJ no matter who's logged in.

Thanks...I set it up as a service and it works fine for everyone, even with nobody logged on at welcome screen. Only thing is now I have dialtone while I'm dialing out. I downloaded the mj silencer to stop the dialtone while dialing, and it changed the mj icon to the little red block with a down-pointing arrow, but I still have the dialtone while dialing. No big deal, calls still come in and go out with no problem.
