If I don't answer my magicJack phone, it keeps ringing even after the caller hangs up. I know the caller has hung up because I'm doing the calling from my cell phone just to test the mJ.
Have you disabled the voicemail in the past? Also you could try a powered usb hub this seems to help MJ's out. Another thing would be to remove MJ completely from your computer and reinstall it. MJ has a download on their site that completely removes MJ from your computer in a minute or two.

Thanks for your suggestions. I also have a problem with incoming calls cutting out after 32 seconds. In reading some of the threads in this forum, the issue seems to be with my Linksys Router WRT54GL. The firmware that comes with the router is incompatible with magicJack. Flashing to a different firmware such as DD-WRT or Tomato appears to solve the problem. I'll be trying that next but I thought I'd reply to you first in case something disastrous happens and I am unable to access the internet for a while.
It works! No more continuous ringing and no 32-second cutoff. Now the only problem is I can't get into the router to configure the firmware because Tomato said the username should be blank and the password should be "admin". And that does not work.
Nevermind my previous post. I simply reset the router, used "root" for username and "admin" for the password. And everything is as it should be. Everything works!
Thank you one and all for your help. Happy Valentine's Day.
