I am thinking of getting a MJ.
I know the computer has to be on,but do you have to be
online to send and recieve calls?

Do you have to be running internet explorer or some such?
Do you have to be online?

Online as in YES you need to have an internet connection, broadband. You do not have to have anything else open for MJ to run, other than MJ itself. AS LONG as you are connected to the net...
