Automated Switching of Call Forwarding Setting
I would like to enable call forwarding when I shutdown my PC, and then disable call forwarding when I boot it back up. Every day, enable it when I shutdown, disable it when I boot up. But doing this manually each time is impractical. I have to open a browser, go to the MJ login page, login to my account, change the setting, save the changes, close the browser, then shutdown. And repeat the process when I boot the next day. As you can see, no one would bother to do this every time they shutdown or boot up. It would be terrific if this "toggling" could be automated some way. I would simply like to set call forwarding to "enabled" when MJ is not running, otherwise set it to "disabled". Anybody have any ideas how this might be accomplished? I tried recording a macro, but it was too cumbersome and inconsistent to work well. Thanks for your help.
Here's an old thread with some good info http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/call ... t3772.html
This works very well. I keep it on my desktop and all you do is click enable and disable whenever you change. It does the rest for yousabresfan wrote:Here's an old thread with some good info http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/call ... t3772.html

The program isn't mine, just use it.jbat wrote:I have seen this posted in numerous posts...........Please post an updated link. Thankskevin8629 wrote:This works very well. The Magicfeatures Plugin has a Call Forwarding Assistant feature that is an initial step to what you are looking for.
We are just about to kick off some more development on that particular feature to take it to the next level. At the moment, we are currently putting together an upgraded spec to design against.
Why don't you take a few minutes to download and install it and let us know what you would like it to ultimately do in additional to what it already does for turning on and off call forwarding (in priority order) so we can capture your requirements. For example, enable/disable at a programmable times, enable/disable when the jack is plugged/unplugged, etc...

To disable Call Forwarding go offhook and dial 73 on your phone keypad and then hang up after you hear 3 confirmation tone beeps.
