MJ only works if I make a new user.

Post by zekenav »

I have spent 8 hours on 4 different "Live Chats" with MJ support all to no avail. I have formatted the MJ and installed the upgrade several times. When I plug in the MJ the icon comes up for me to double click. I double click and a icon comes on my screen and one starts bouncing in the doc. 15 secs later they both go away and I get no dial pad. It never loads. A mac buddy suggested to set up a new user. I did and it works great. Now, what do I have to change to get it to work on my old user account?

zekenav, I had the same issue. Is your user profile stored on a separate partition or external hard drive? I only had this problem when my user profile was on an external drive.

uninstall (erase) from Disk Utility .. totally erase it and then start over like it is new and DO NOT USE THE UPGRADE.
