setup / troubleshooting

Post by sks24 »

I'm newly registered and have a number and I can dial out and connect to other telephones. However, upon the other party's answer of my call, we can't hear or speak to each other. Th magic Jack on my desktop indicates a call is in session.

So, at this point, I would like to have some advice about how to go about troubleshooting this problem.

I tried the connection with both a regular ATT phone connected directly to the magic jack, and also with a headset and mike connected directly to my Gateway DX 4300-05 running Vista.

I would like to set it up so that I could use the ATT phone.

The wireless connection is via wireless N, upload speed averages 120kbps.

Thanks in advance for all your help,
Scott

i discovered the "switch to headset" setting in the magicjack menu, and was able to complete a call and get a fully functional connection using the headset.

I'm currently troubleshooting the ATT wireless DECT6.0 cordless telephone connection.
