Outgoing Caller ID Number Wrong sometimes

When I call a landline from MJ a diffrent number shows up on caller id but if I call a Sprint Cell number my MJ number shows up. I have called the other number and it just rings and rings but if I call from my M I get a rapid busy signal. My MJ number is not a local number but a local number shows up on the landline caller ID if that helps any. any one know why this happens?
