Do I need an MJ hardware refresh?

I purchased my MJ a couple of years ago and was pleased with it (even with the software instability, etc) but I did not renew my plan after the first year. It's been appr. 2 years since my MJ was active. I'd like to start using MJ again but I'm wondering if there's been a hardware refresh in the past couple of years and I should buy a new one or if it would be OK to just plug it in and let it get whatever software updates have been released in the interim. Thanks!

My MJ is over 2 years old and has been in continuous use - and working fine. There have been many software updates and as soon as you plug in your MJ you'll join the rest of us "Lucky You" crowd and get a download to the latest code.
