I have 2 quick questions. BTW I LOVE MAGIC JACK. THE BEST THING EVER

Now for the questions. Does magic jack support Number Portability Outwards. Meaning i want to take my vanity number to t-mobile or att. Do they allow that?


Second it they do allow that, i was a little spectacle about Magic jack when i first got it, and just put my nick names in the boxes for contact's not thinking that MJ works.

Is there a way to change my name on magic jack? because if magic jack supports outwards number portability i would need to get that rectified first.

the only reason why i want to port out my number is because i need that phone with me all the time. I know i can use call forwarding which i am but now people are starting to text me at that number thinking that is my cell phone.

I will still be a mj member for life.

Answer
In order to transfer a number on your magicJack to a new provider, eligible requests should be initiated by your new service provider, who will coordinate the transfer.


As for the question about changing your name...I'm pretty sure that is not possible, at least from what I have read in this forum. Your best bet would be to contact MJ Tech. Chat.
