If you provide some screen shots maybe you will get more help!

Are you using MJProxy? Is it setup properly? Is your PAP2T-NA shows registred/Online on Line 1 or Line 2?

The first place to look is your Dial Plan...make sure that is setup properly!!

Here's another link with directions for setting up MJ on an ata http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/how- ... t7593.html I would recommend trying a softphone first to make sure your sip credentials work properly. Also you do need to use mjmd5 to get your ata to register with MJ's servers.

Pap2t and magicjack setup

Post by Yoshikor »

I was unable to display screen shots on this post but here is what is happening the line 1 on my Pap2t is not working so I setup on line 2. I get a dial tone but I get this message "can't connect to login server" and everytime I dial any number I get a fast busy signal.

Here is a suggestion:

Set your PAP2T back to factory defaults. Pick up the telephone connected to the pap2t and dial the asterisk(star) 4 times, the IVR starts, press 73738 followed by the pound(#) key, press 1 to enable, the Adapter restarts to the factory default settings removing any passwords set... that way you can start fresh and possibly use Line 1 again.
By the way, Im assuming your pap2t is an unlocked version. Once you default it, go to the provisioning tab and change setting to NO.

Next you should read and follow the steps outlined on this page:

http://www.digitaloffensive.com/2010/06 ... retrieval/

forget about what you have done before to get your sip and start over.

also, follow this page to setup your pap2t:

http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/magi ... t5066.html

the only thing that might be different is the proxy. are you using a compatible router to run your proxy? or are you gonna leave your computer on 24/7 to run it? better get a compatible router and visit this page:
http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/ddwr ... t6913.html

you can get a router on ebay if you dont have one.. Must have 4mb FLASH and 16mb RAM. try looking for a Linksys WRT54G version 4 router.

There are other solutions you can possibly look into but Im trying to show you an easy way. If you want to "pm" me I'll help you out..

You may want to eliminate the PAP2 and just test your credentials with a softphone like X-Lite. Run it without the mjproxy invoked and, if that fails, run with the proxy.
This will establish 2 things:
1-I need (don't need) MJPROXY for my device
and
2-I have the correct SIP credentials

I assume you are in USA??
Good Luck
