Try this link http://magicjackhacks.net/index.php?opt ... &Itemid=69 it has the best directions for windows to get your sip credentials. The sip password is never in the same place anymore but at least there are screen shots to look at that give you a good idea what to look for. Also you may need to do up to 10 or more dumps to find your password. I did 10 or 12 and looked in them all until I found my password.
i those steps exactly and still nothing in the area they show it.

You need to contact Redpepper, he frequents the forum and will remotely grab your sip details for a small fee.

It sounds like you may have some network issues to deal with. What is your MOS from http://myspeed.visualware.com/indexvoip.php with the MJ unplugged?mastdesi wrote:I got it working but the sound is really choppy and sounds like i am calling from far.
Sad Times Ahead for this Obamanation !!!! Psalms 109:8
Sounds like the same problems I have had and why I dumped MJ and paid for a real VoIP line instead. I only use MJ if my regular line doesn't work due to maintenance or technical issues, which is rare. Support for MJ sucks and they always blamed my connection for the choppy sound and echo, but it works great using a real VoIP service. I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" holds true.VaHam wrote:It sounds like you may have some network issues to deal with. I just wanted to say that after a week of testing i have got a stable setup.
WOW! i have never had magicjack with this clear voice quality on both ends before.
This is my setup : WRT54GL v1.1 (DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/23/10) mini + mjproxy running on it + QOS) ---> SPA-2102 with latest firmware.
It's not the MJ thats the problem always. It could be your connection. I was testing another Voip service with MJ and both had choppy voice, but now both work perfect with this setup. Thanks to all the help from the users on this forum. I have MJ as my main line and my old phone number forwarded to it for free, so i only pay my MJ bill.
I have a canadian number by the way.
