I got to win 7 update for MJ support and after the update , i get the same message that says all updated , but only for VISTA which I never used --

Can this be resolved or should I just get another MJ?

I dont think it is a MJ problem. Something is going on with the OS on your PC. MAYBE somehow you got some malware/virus/spyware on your PC. I would run a few anti virus/anti spyware programs, then search for the MJ remover on the MJ site, remove all of the MJ software and then plug it in and try it all over again.
