forward calls threw magic jack

Hi there first time poster here. I just got my magic jack today from the local store, and i love it already. My cell phone has NO resection when I'm in my apartment but i do have free calls to and from 10 numbers great idea just forward the cell to the magic jack when i'm at home for service. Now i have cell service in the house and since i was looking for a cell booster this saved me hundreds of dollars today alone. My question is is there a way i can call my magicjack and have it forward my call to a number i chose? its kind of an oddball out there question but If no one here knows then no one dose

Yes it is called call forwarding. DUH
Just log into your MJ account and you will see the call forward setting. Just enter the # you wish to forward your MJ too, pretty straight forward.
PLUS had you searched the MJ faq on their web page they have a PDF file for you to peruse on exactly how to achive what you are asking.

Maybe i should clarify since I already know about call forwarding. I want to be able to call my magic jack and have it forward the number i chose at the moment. example cell --- > magic jack ---> Different numbers depending on who i want to talk to not just forward to one location (my my 10 already lets me chose 9 other numbers free) im asking if theres a way to use it as a personal exchange

better explanation cell --> magic jack ---> aunt may --> hangup --> cell ---> magicjack ---> uncle ben well not near a computer

Nope not on it's own. MAYBE with 3rd party software but not as it stands right now you can not do that, sorry.

i figured you couldn't do it on its own maybe a script and 2 magic jacks might work but thats why i posted in the hacks section if no one post the question no one tries to figure out how anyway thanks for the help ether way its saving me daytime cell use I'm not gonna complain

Tailor made justification to deploy an asterisk box. Suggest you look at nerdvittles.com.
Easy to do with a little Asterisk feature called DISA. You will need to abrogate the MJ TOS and grab your sip credentials to make it work

Ultimately you will be able to have INFINITE faves if you plan it correctly
