Google Voice Priority Invite For Students and the Military!

Post by JohnnyFreightTRAIN »

Google will now offer priority Google Voice accounts to Students[1] and active members of the Military Service[2], according to the company's official blog.

To get an invitation, just visit Googles webpage for Military or Student Priority Invitations and enter an email address that that ends in .mil or .edu

Keep in mind that only one invite will be be sent per email address and Google Voice is currently only available in the U.S. And if you’re new to Google Voice, check out the introductory videos at http://www.youtube.com/googlevoice.
For those of you who do have .edu or .mil email addresses, this is great. For the rest of us, it would be great if we could brainstorm. Does anyone know how to get one of these email accounts without being a student or in the military? I do know of one way to get an .edu address...

Anyone have any other ideas?
