I trying to figure out why some Magic Jack SIP data once entered on an ATA or using with an Asterisk Server, does not require that MJProxy is running on your network. I find this very puzzling. Is it possible to find older or newer MJ device which can be used without MJProxy? If so, what procedure do I have to follow to identify such devices?
I'm trying to avoid having to run MJProxy on a computer or Router. Finally, how can I point another ATA device at another location to the MJProxy running on my network (DD-WRT Router). Thx.
