Xlite

Post by mountaineer »

I managed to get Xlite & mjproxy to work. Here's how:

Step 1: Start mjproxy

mjproxy 192.168.2.100 5070 proxy01.yourcity.talk4free.com 5070 MJ_password

Since I have a dedicated IP behind my router, I've used that (192.168.2.100).

Check that it's up and running with: ps -ax

Step 2: Configure Xlite

Main Menu --> System Settings --> SIP Proxy

Enabled: Yes
Display Name: as you like
Username: EXXXXXXXXXX01
Authorization User: EXXXXXXXXXX01
Domain/Realm: IP for proxy01.yourcity.talk4free.com
SIP Proxy: proxy01.yourcity.talk4free.com:5070
Outbound Proxy: 192.168.2.100 (IP you used with mjproxy)

Just leave the other options as "Default"

Step 3 Test

Start Xlite. If your credentials are correct and your configuration as well, Xlite's display will state:

Logged In:

Your Logged In Number Is: E1234567890 (whatever your MJ number is)

Good luck and post your results

Are you're credentials correct? Maybe you can try reducing the sip proxy registration time period to 120 - 300 seconds

Menu -> Advanced System Settings -> Sip Settings -> Register Proxy (s): 120
