I wonder how the new http://www.skype.com/allfeatures/subscr ... /uscanada/ of $2.95/mo for unlimited calls to US and Canada will effect MJ?

Since Skype can be added as a trunk in an * box it makes it not as worth it to mess around with MJ credentials any longer.

You can also set Skype to show your Goolge Voice number for outgoing caller ID. This used to be only for cellphone numbers.

VaHam... I'm still not able to set my GV number as my outgoing caller ID in Skype. Does the requirement for a cellphone number/SMS response change if you use the monthly subscription? Thanks....

Nevermind!

I got it on the second try. Not sure why the first go 'round didn't work, but I now have my Google Voice set up on my Skype. Or, at least I will within 24 hours, according to their message.

Did you notice that Skype modifed their fair usage terms of service?

The six hour daily limit and 50 unique numbers/day should still be plenty for the average user. But, I really like having more generous terms that I don't actually pay for through Google Voice.
