Hi All. I was told in a previous message that I could use a desk top microphone instead of headphones with MJ. However, I forgot to ask if I should switch from headphones to telephone. Thanks for your reply.

No, leave MJ set to headphones.
It can't tell the difference between a desktop mic and a mic mounted on a headset.
Again, your only real enemy here is feedback from the speakers.

Enjoys a daily VOIP cocktail made from:
-One shot Magic Jack
-One shot TK6000
-One shot NetTalk Duo
-Two shots Ooma (it's bigger)
Shaken, not stirred.
Google Voice is the chaser.

Thanks. The only problem I have right now is my friend who is on Google Talk says I sound "tinny" at her end. This is when I am on Google Talk also.Nobody beats the Whiz! wrote:No, leave MJ set to headphones.

I have no problems with my speakers since the sound comes through the monitor. Does this make sense?
