Has anyone else's ATA stopped working?

Post by CaptWho »

A little while ago, I picked up my phone and there was no dialtone. Checking my SPA2102, the green line light had gone out. I tried restarting the ATA a few times and nothing changed.

I disconnected the ATA and plugged in the MJ dongle. There was a notice that software was downloading and the softphone restarted, looking a bit different from the way it did before the "upgrade".

My ATA still refuses to work. Has anyone else run into this?

Thank you as I get very tired of being the bad guy telling people to search.

I was guessing that this was a new issue and I scanned the recent topics looking for something related in this forum and didn't see any.

The warning about not plugging in the dongle was kind of a non-issue for me anyway, since I need my phone and my ATA wasn't working.

It hurts to have to say goodbye to the clear calls that I was getting on the ATA for a while :(

It may be just a matter of time; but this hasn't effected all users yet. It being related to getting "Lucky" may just be coincidence.
