Xlitejack Plugin Release 2.0 is now available for download and it is compatible with magicJack's brand new dialer.
In case you are not familiar with this plugin, it upgrades a basic magicJack to allow dual mode MJ + X-Lite/SIP calling from the same phone.
This allows you to also use your MJ with another VoIP provider at the same time giving you an alternative network provider to get through to regular phone numbers that are temporarily not reachable or permanently blocked by the magicJack network.
When used with a VoIP provider such as CallCentric that supports the T.30 VoIP fax sending protocol, you may also use your MJ for sending outgoing faxes. See http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/faxi ... t9330.html for details.
An active MJ subscription is NOT required to use X-Lite Plugin Release 2.0 with a MJ USB dongle if you just want to use your MJ USB dongle with a different VoIP provider. Other VoIP providers that are currently offering free calling and free incoming phone numbers with no annual fees at present include Whistlephone.
You can download and try out the new Xlitejack Plugin release for free for 7 days even if you previously tried it in the past.
