SKYPE PLUGIN RELEASE 2.0 - MJ Active Subscription Not Req'd

Skyjack Plugin Release 2.0 is now available for download and it is compatible with magicJack's brand new dialer.

In case you are not familiar with this plugin, it upgrades a basic magicJack to allow dual mode MJ + Skype calling from the same phone.

The latter means you can also use your phone to place and receive calls to/from other Skype users anywhere in the world absolutely free. There are currently over 500 million Skype users worldwide. The service is absolutely free and you don't need to deposit any funds unless you want to use Skype to call regular non-toll free phone numbers. The other party does not need to have a magicJack.

It also means you an alternative network provider to get through to regular phone numbers that are temporarily not reachable or permanently blocked by the magicJack network.

An active MJ subscription is NOT required to use Skyjack Plugin Release 2.0 with a MJ USB dongle if you just want to place incoming and outgoing Skype calls.

I use to have the Skyjack Plugin working on my 2 pc

in the pc running win 7 at the upgrade time to ver 2 was NOT a problem no questions ask or license number just install fine

BUT in my HP 5710 running XPe is asking me for the key to install I input the key and say no valid

is any correct way to install the upgrade ?

I do search and DO NOT find the info so any info will be appreciate

We have never tried setting up Skype 4.2 on a thin client. Perhaps somebody at the Skype forum at http://www.skype.com that has tried it before can help you with that question.

I check the Link You indicate But I DO NOT find any info in how to install the plug in in a HP 5710

I finally remember all the trouble I have installing the plug in in the HP 5710 So here it is My solution to the task at hand

Install

After downloading the plug in run the install

Go to Z:\ Administrator\local Settings\application Data\skyjackplugin\

and copy the folder To C:\Document and settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\

Then go to the green icon padlock and commit the info to the Hard Disk let the HP 5710 re start

To Up Date

Copy the folder Skyjackplugin from C:\Document and settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\

To Z:\ Administrator\local Settings\application Data\

Then Install the Update No need for the Key

if the Update finish OK You need to Copy The file Back

FROM Z:\ Administrator\local Settings\application Data\skyjackplugin\

and copy the folder To C:\Document and settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\

Then go to the green icon padlock and commit the info to the Hard Disk let the HP 5710 re start

Hope it make sense for you and is my hope some one will find the info help full

or you may create a file to do the transfer automatic for the HP 5710 user

PD the problem in the update is because the info in the key and the reg is not present in the HP 5710 at the Z disc the problem got solve transferring the info to the working area in the HP 5710
