We all have "Stock symbol: Call". That's their...stock symbol in case we want to look at their...stock. You need to tell us how you're set up: what computer are you using, the OS, how are you connected to the Internet, where your MJ is plugged in, has it ever worked and for how long, are you using the crappy USB extension that came with the dongle (if you are, stop using it), etc. Have you tried plugging it into another computer? Do you get a dial tone?
You get the idea. And last but not least, have you done a SEARCH in this forum to see if others have had similar problems (they have)?
We can't offer suggestions with just "I can't call out".

Same problem here
... Magic jack was working fine for months. Within the last 2 days, my email is getting peppered with new voice mail messages when the phone never rang and should be working fine. Logged into the computer with the magicjack installed using Team Viewer ... and the dialer status says "Stock Symbol CALL" instead of ready, there's no adds in the left hand pane, and even the options for wired and wireless networks in the top left corner are gone like it's using a very old version of the dialer ...
Downloaded and brute forced an upgrade and still the same problem ...
Nothing I've done since 4AM on my end works ... which is 95% of the case for all Magic Jack problems. Somehow they fix themselves ... but its WHEN they fix themselves that have my ass really frosted this morning. That phone is for my 70 year old dying mother on fixed SSI income, and I'm REALLY getting sick and tired of her being an unpaid and glorifed beta tester for MagicJack's incompetence and malfeasance just as much as I'm getting stick and tired of somehow being responsible for it all by proxy.

- My computer is laptop, use Vista OS. I connect to internet by ADSL and normal operation.
- My MJ plugged directly with computer by USB. I have 10 MJ and 3 days ago, they still worked. they registered with an account.
- I searched in this forum but there isn't my case as.
- 10 MJ appeared the words "Stock symbol: Call"
- I do not know what was wrong. you can help me, please?
I bought 10 Magic Jack a month ago, they use good. But now, their is unable to make a telephone call to get out and all peoples can call on us. This proves that the magic jack and my network are good, the service provider has locked out call.murphy wrote:CALL is the NASDAQ stock symbol for Vocaltec Communications LTD who now own MagicJack.
It has nothing to do with whether or not your service works.
Support me, Please. Thanks
I bought 10 Magic Jack because I was MJ's distributor. I active MJ from the same account to client, I didn't know the rules of MJ about 50 different numbers in a single day from the same MJ. what is solution for my case, please?murphy wrote:Why did you buy 10 MagicJacks? Are you running a call center? If you make calls to 50 different numbers in a single day from the same MJ, the MJ will be shut down permanently.

Not taunting you, IF you can not make more than 50 calls a day and you need to make more than 50 calls a day then MJ is not for you, simple logic. If when you move your arm up and down and it hurts when you go like that? Well don't go like that.dqchinh wrote:Please do not taunt me. LOTS of other VOIP options out there. Some have even been mentioned in this forum..
So my 49 calls a day statement still stands in order to use MJ. The rest is up to you.

Bottom line is if you made more than 50 calls in one day they canceled your service. You can discuss it with magicJack support via chat on your computer, but I have never known that to do any good. Your service is terminated.
You really should read their Terms of Service before getting invested with them that heavily-

Although tis is a magicJack forum. Other alternatives you may want to investigate are Callcentric and netTalk. I believe they are both unlimited services with slightly higher costs.

Sadly in todays world "unlimited" may not always be true even if stated as so... I have a feeling IF he is using MJ or any other future VOIP for Telemarketing he will loose his account relatively quick.Diggs wrote:\Bottom line is if you made more than 50 calls in one day they canceled your service. Which is why I threw callcentric in there. They do have an unlimited business plan, but of cource not at MJ rates -bitstopjoe wrote:
