New problem, disconnected after 5 minutes

Post by gtcway »

I've tried searching here and on google for this but can't find anything. Had trouble renewing a magicjack and talked to tech support about it. Finally got it working, not sure if they did anything or if it just worked:)
Anyway, since it came back on, whenever I talk to my girlfriend (we both have a mj), the connection is cut at exactly 5 minutes. Doesn't matter who calls.
Did the people at Magicjack, when looking at my trouble renewing, see that we use it so often that they're doing it on purpose to limit our use? Is there anything I can do to fix this, besides contacting tech support again?

I have a MJ number with Alabama area code. I have run the upgrade download and it still times out after 5 mins. I am in Canada, using a Canadian ip address.

MJ tech support told me to run the upgrade, I did, no luck, still times out at 5 mins.
