About a week late with the news, but it never hurts to hear it twice.sabresfan wrote:I just found this if anyone's interested in a Duo http://www.fullofdeals.com/44043/netTal ... price.html They have a buy one get one free on black Friday.

Guys, I have heard that they will be doing a 2 for 1 sale on Black Friday in case you missed this latest deal. I don't know if they will charge shipping on the second item though, but if you are planning on buying more than 1 you might want to check their site next Friday for this deal.
Edit: It was in the "Net talk VOIP 50% off....thread"

i don't know what to do. I have MJ, Google voice with an ATA and Optimum voice in the triple play deal for another year. MJ and Google voice have been unreliable lately. When my three deal is up Optimum will be too expensive, so i guess i answered my own question and go with the duo two for one deal. I wonder what to do with extra duo? can i give it to someone, or is it registered to my name and address?

It would make a good gift. As long as you let the recipient log-in and register the Duo, it won't have any connection to you. (I don't know how warranty claims would be handled.)telltom wrote:i don't know what to do. I have MJ, Google voice with an ATA and Optimum voice in the triple play deal for another year. If you don't know anyone who wants one, you could probably sell it in here pretty quick if it was lower than the regular price. There are quite a few who want to get one, but can't justify the cost.telltom wrote:i don't know what to do. Thank you Tom.. The same to you and your loved ones..tsmith wrote:From my heart too, Joe. Happy Thanksgiving to you and to everyone on the forum. Keep it safe.
I used to love this time of the year...Especially when the kids were little, now they can't be over soon enough. After living alone for going on 8 years now, not quite the same.
Be well and thank you again..

Now, don't go and get depressed on us, we need you in your best form for the holidays in here. I wasn't in here last year, but it looked as if MJ acted up around Christmas time.bitstopjoe wrote: I used to love this time of the year...Especially when the kids were little, now they can't be over soon enough. I do pretty much agree though, I'm always tempted to spend the whole time drunk so that it's all a blur. But they start with the damn decorations and music at Halloween now and I can't do 2 month black outs like the old days anymore.
I did get my first grandchild last week, so I'm hoping some of that magic comes back in the coming years. So depending on how old your kids are, maybe frequent reproduction is a good suggestion. If they are still teens or younger, I apologize for being inappropriate.

Not a drinker here so that's out. Never used drugs, not even pot, so that's out too.
I have 2 sons 30 and 27 with kids of their own ( 3 total). Sadly dont see much of them or my grandkids. The oldest still lives with my ex and both of my sons are closer to their mom than me. Tis life. Being out of work doesnt help for the holidays either.
I can say though, both my parents are still around ( Dad 82 and Mom 77). I will be there helping my mom cook on Thanksgiving day. I see them once a week to help them out around the house ( mow, fix stuff, etc..) So there is that, but 95% of the time I am by myself.. I was married for 27 years but split in 2003 and been alone since. I am not a party guy, never been in a bar in fact. Just a shy, boring guy. Though someone made my day today when I went food shopping. They give a discount for anyone over 55 and the new checkout woman didnt believe me when I said I am going to be 57 soon and I had to show her my drivers license as proof. She said, which made my day, she thought I was in my early 40's. Of course I know one day it will all catch up to me overnight, and I will wake up looking like Larry King
So is it January yet???????????
T.M.I, I know I know.. sorry.... Once I start typing, hard to stop. Easy to talk on here as it feels like a small family at times..

That may be difficult. I obviously am, and I correctly passed that on to my daughter, and her husband is one as well. So the granddaughter will probably turn out to be a flaming liberal, just to rebel against everyone, perish the thought.
Although truth be told, I'm more of a flaming Libertarian than a flaming conservative. I want less government interaction in my life than the average Republican/conservative does.

I always thought I was liberal, and did not care for disparagement of the term.nailgunner wrote:Although truth be told, I'm more of a flaming Libertarian than a flaming conservative. I want less government interaction in my life than the average Republican/conservative does.
However upon taking a test, it turns out I am slightly conservative, and off the charts libertarian.
This makes sense in retrospect, as I have little tolerance for anything even remotely authoritarian.

I just ordered my buy one get one free. Funny thing. I signed up on their website a few days ago to be notified of any news. You would think they would have let me know about the black friday sale, but no. I heard about it from postings on this website. They need some sharp people in their advertising dept.

Seems the company is a little dull rather then sharp, They pulled some BS on me. I got the damn thing for $9.95 next day and to tell you the truth thats all its worth as they get imported in the U.S. for under a buck with cheap chinese labor, Time tells all. If there service is good as there miami server then it will stay dull, Besides they don't want you to know where there servers are like its a nuclear power plant but the servers can't hide to all

Nope, I somehow missed the previous post. Sincerely thought I was sharing something that wasn't on the forum yet. My mistake. The info came in an email I received from netTALK. Sorry about the repost.
Christ... sure is a sensitive bunch around here.
Who is sensitive? It's pretty easy to do seeing as how is was the last post in the topic that was repeated. OOPS, I just did it too.
