Audio problem possibly caused by setting up MJ

I just got my MJ, got it all set up and working, now I have no audio. If I try to watch something on You tube or a news clip, no audio. The little speaker icon on the bottom right of screen has been taken over by tigerjet and shows a telephone handset. Along the same row of icons I have a volume control "dial". That seems to be the inop part. I'm not very techy, have any of you heard of this problem? Advice?

without knowing the os on the machine, this is the best guess i can give you... open the control panel... open sound/audio... check each tab for the device it is set to use and correct any that may be using the Magicjack for sound.

Thank you very much for your time and attention(prompt)!! Listen, I did what you said (OS is vista), my audio is back now no magic jack!!

in the magicjack dial pad select menu, then select switch to telephone. or volume/headset and set it to use the phone.

if this knocks your audio out again, you will have to check for updated drivers from microsoft. to check for updates, open IE, select tools, select windows update, select custom (depending on your settings exspress will not update drivers), select and install any/all sound related updates.
