Hi, I am able to call a cell phone but when I try to call a land line phone, I get a quick busy signal followed by dead air.
A cordless phone is plugged into the magicjack.
Anyone ever hear of this problem?
Thanx in advance

most likely the number you are calling is one of the exchanges MJ does not route calls to.
Google or search the forum for the magic jack blocked calls their is a url with a list of areas that dont work.

if they give you a issue with the refund search for class action suit on here and send it back that way.

For the record, I do not believe ANY class action suit has been filed. There has been a ton of chat about it, and one attorney set up a web-site over TWO years ago.
Regardless, it's not an alternate method of returning a MagicJack.

I sent a few of mine back via the method in the thread about the class action suit and was refunded fully.

I gotcha, theres a method mentioned in there. Because sending to someone filing a class action suit won't get you anything for a year or two.
